As I sat down to type my little intro the only thing I could think was that these photos honestly speak for themselves and any words I put before them aren’t going to preface them any better than just jumping in and looking for yourself. But naturally I feel like I have to say just a few words. Doug and Amanda (from our favorite makeup by amanda) are so in love and smitten with each other, Kacey and I haven’t laughed as hard as we did that day in a LONG time. Amanda is one of my very best friends I always knew it was going to take quite a man to sweep her off her feet, and Doug more than fits the bill. He is charming, ambitious and downright hilarious! They both have a contagious and captivating energy and we are so incredibly thrilled for their big day in November.
I had such a blast shooting this engagement session… Bryan and Laura were so much fun and despite them trying to tell me they were nervous they were so comfortable in front of the camera, which made my job SUPER easy. Laura is absolutely stunning and humble to boot, because she has NO idea how beautiful she is. Bryan was like the MODEL groom-to-be he was not only completely in it but he was not shy about lovon’ on his wifey-to-be, you could tell it made her feel beautiful and it made me feel so special being able to see how in love they are!
So excited to share these photos with you… I hope their love is as evident to you as it was to me behind my camera! Thank you Laura and Bryan for a wonderful afternoon and we can’t wait for your BIG DAY!
I am so pumped to share this post!!! I had the amazing opportunity to head over to one of my favorite cities in the US… none other than Austin, Texas… to photograph my absolutely stunning cousin, Krista, and her hubby-to-be, Drew. We had such a blast prowling around the UT Campus, Congress Street, and some other cool spots to capture just how smitten the two of them are.
They will be getting married next Juneat the UT Alumni Center, and because I have the blessing of being able to stand next to her on the big day my big sis (the other half of About Love.) will be the one lucky enough to capture the day. This is precisely why I couldn’t possibly miss the chance to capture their engagement.
We truly had a blast and reliving the laughs and good times as I look at these pictures reminds me what a blessing both Krista and Drew are in our lives. YaY for engagements, family, AND the weird city of Austin!
