From the monthly archives: June 2012

As I sat down to type my little intro the only thing I could think was that these photos honestly speak for themselves and any words I put before them aren’t going to preface them any better than just jumping in and looking for yourself. But naturally I feel like I have to say just a few words. Doug and Amanda (from our favorite makeup by amanda) are so in love and smitten with each other, Kacey and I haven’t laughed as hard as we did that day in a LONG time. Amanda is one of my very best friends I always knew it was going to take quite a man to sweep her off her feet, and Doug more than fits the bill. He is charming, ambitious and downright hilarious! They both have a contagious and captivating energy and we are so incredibly thrilled for their big day in November.

This is another wedding that did not get on the blog and we felt was an absolute MUST SHARE! Cynthia and Ricky’s day was sheik and modern which are not the typical words we use to describe the weddings we shoot, so when they told us where they were doing it and their general vibe we were so excited!!  The day started at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Phoenix and then the ceremony and reception were both held at The Phoenix Art Museum. The Phoenix Art Museum provided the perfect backdrop to showcase their elegant edge. We are so incredibly happy for these two love birds and felt like we were really a part of something unique and special, I think you’ll get a great idea of who these two are, how deeply they are in love, and how much fun their day was!

Oh and did we mention the groom is a professional dancer and choreographer, so to add just another awesome touch be planned and choreographed a flash mob for himself and a few of his dancers, the entire bridal party ,AND every other guest to surprise perform for the bride. Needless to say it was pretty bomb!

This was another wedding that the entertainment was brought by Ingram Entertainment and yet again the dance floor was never empty! They are seriously killer!

The Groom’s mom and aunt created this beautiful cake!!!!!

We are so thrilled and happy for Cynthia and Ricky and even though we may be a little behind this wedding was too good to not share! :)

So this is one of those weddings that occured right at the beginning of our crazy Fall (we had 16 weddings in less than 8 weeks)needless to say they never got the blog lovin’ they deserved. So we are back tracking a little but once you see this gem you will understand.

Meghan and Tony are high school sweethearts and their love is a beautiful thing to be witness to, anyone who knows these two knows just how perfect they are for one another. Tony treats Meghan like the princess she absolutely is, so we know he will be in trouble when their baby girl, Leni, arrives in September.

We feel so special to have been able to watch their love grow over the last 8 plus year, they are truly soulmates and this marked just the beginning of an amazing and wonderful journey, we are so glad we are going to be able to capture all the special moments along the way!

If you want to you can check out their engagement session here.

Meghan and Tony’s wedding day had so much love poured into it. Not only is this DIY bride great at coming up with brilliant and creative invitation, but also designing her own bridal buquet and making the boutenniers. Her mother can also take a lot of credit for the magic that happening in the. The best part is that it wasn’t just throwing a bunch of stuff together to make for pretty pictures, each detail was thought out and personal and it made their day not only special for the two of them but every one of their guests also.

Their wedding was at the Windmill Winery in Florence, AZ which provided some of the most unique and special vinettes.

Meg’s dress and accessories were purchased in NYC at the JCrew Bridal Boutique… such a perfect dress for a perfect ballerina!

Bridesmaids dresses were also JCrew and shoes were TOMS.

Groom and Groomsmen in JCrew, levis, and of course Chucks!
